On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we invite you to participate in the 1st Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials (BCCM1) which will be held in Natal, RN. The conference scheduled for July 16-19,2012, is the first of a series of conferences that will take place biennially in Brazil, intended to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest research and technology in the field of composite materials.

The conference language for all oral presentations is English (15 min for oral presentation + 5 min for discussion).

The BCCM1 Organizing Committee is glad to inform that through an agreement established with The Journal of Aerospace Technology and Management - JATM Organizing Committee, selected papers submitted to this symposium and related to JATM specialties will be invited for publication in this journal.
The Journal of Aerospace Technology and Management, JATM, is a techno-scientific periodical quarterly published, and has as its main purpose to provide an archival form of presenting scientific and technological research results related to the aerospace field, providing open access to all of its contents. JATM was created in 2009 and it is already indexed in several important databases of scientific publication.
For publication in JATM the invited authors must submit an extended version of the paper submitted to BCCM1, which will pass through the JATM revision procedure of "double blind peer review".
